Luana Lamas, vocals

Behind the sunny, playful and laid-back demeanor of Luana Lamas, lead singer of Whiskey & Fruit, lies a musical chameleon; Lu can and will sing anything.  Her talents span wailing classic rock to whimsical modern pop; she raps, she belts, she croons.  Constantly reinventing herself on stage, Lu is a marvel to behold; she looses herself completely in a performance, leading the band and her audience to another plane. A respected professional musician with years of experience fronting established bands in her native Brazil, Luana now calls Toronto home.  In Whiskey & Fruit she has found a band with the energy, talent, and breadth of style to keep up with her.

Sam Rutman, guitar

Originally born in the Ukraine, Sam Rutman, is an experienced musician, who has played professionally in Europe and Israel and is now based in Toronto, Canada. His wide interests in music range from Rock to light Jazz, Pop to Country. Highly creative, with a great ear and skillful dexterity, Sam’s improvisation makes him a wonder to experience.

Julia Keith, keys

Julia is a keys player of rare versatility.  She easily transitions between soulful piano ballads, the complex digital sounds of modern pop, 70s rock organ, and 80s synth, enabling the band's tremendous breadth of styles and creating a rich, layered sound.  Her classical piano training, professional demeanor, and perfectionism serve her well as a pianist for wedding ceremonies and formal events, but the true breadth of her abilities shines in the full band's high energy dance sets.

Steve Crew, drums

London Ontario drummer, Steve Crew, has been playing professionally with a cross-section of artists for the past two decades.
